It was not all of Yemen who sided with Ethiopia; it was Southern Yemen (Aden) that has supported the communist block that was defending Ethiopia. When Somali government fell in 1991, Kuwait has been covering the expenses of all Somali embassies in overseas countries. The UN budget for Somalia is at least half paid for by the Gulf Arabs. The WFP (World Food Program) for Somalia is mostly paid for by the Gulf Arabs. Somalia's livestock still go to Gulf Arabs, and Egypt and Lebanon recently came to Somali ports and were paying for the livestock exports that Somali economy depends on. Not only that but the only country that allows Somalis to come in and do business in its land is UAE.

You should also know the tens of billions of dollars they donated to Somalis throughout the time we obtained independence from Europeans, where majority of that money was looted by Somali leaders. Keep in mind every Somali peace conference and every UN peacekeeping mission to Somalia is funded by Gulf Arabs.

Stop hating the hand that fed you, and quit the entitlement mindset. They don't owe you any thing, and they did and still do their best to help you. It is us who butchered each other and kept Somalia where it is today.

Even though the paragraph in my previous comment state that yemen was military involved also in wikipedia it says 400 yemen were killed by somalia in the ethiopian war but you claim they had little involvment.
