It's not easy to just walk away.

I met a Somali woman with 9 kids who was in similar situation as this lady. The dude drove her crazy and she was declared a mental patient. He got custody of the kids and is currently living off the kids $$$.

They arrived from Kenya 5 years ago.

Each year and each child makes it harder and harder to leave...I'm sure if she knew better she'd do better, lakiin what can she do now? I'm sure she didn't aspire to this situation 11 years ago, but she might not have the education, financial stability or support system to just up and leave with 5 kids now.
