Ideally, it works in the Mii not in a modern urban setting where is is ridiculously expensive to maintain 2 xalimos.
That means you were attracted to her to begin with , you lusted over her while bro was alive
Acudhka, warya menace joog ninyow. To declare that someone is beautiful or attractive ain't the same as lusting over them.

How can you describe something that Allah has
made lawful for us as disgusting?
Say you'd rather marry qof shisheeya ah laakin don't say it's disgusting.

it is disgusting
and what do you mean qof shisheeye, inbreeding is wrong

Just cuz its not halaal doesn't mean one should do it. It doesn't make sense for our social construct, like how marrying 4 wives.

There are few people who are worth explaining stuff to, and there are others, like yourself who have the same understanding as a mulqaacad markaa isxiijin maayo.

You guys must understand that my future mistress Julkimi's looking at this through her Western lenses....if julkim had grown up back home she would've been understanding....it's more likely that she is more confident and tolerant of homosexual behavior around her then this practice that she considers "disgusting"
@MaliPrince...I'd rather have my brother Marty my wife then another man specially when one has a daughter...in our community we have a lot of single mothers marrying anything and ending up having their girl' s molested by nacaska ey u keentay

Imagine a woman thought her husband was dead and her husbands brother married her and the husband made a return to see his brother with his wife and his brother being the new daddy to his kids?.
On another note menace stop lying, you can't marry your dead uncles wife. What kinda messed up ish is that?

I don't presume to know the exact passage of what you first brought up, but marrying your brother's widow...exactly what is wrong with that?
True, you don't live in a world where that is necessary, but think about it. A woman marries into your family, and is therefore the responsibility of them. Her husband dies and she's left feeding her children what your family provides them (if they do)...The amount of ajar you get for stepping up to take care of her and her needs, as well as the children's...I don't see how anyone can refute the beauty in that. There are places in this world that do not provide for single mothers...not everyone can get a support check from their governments.
This is not intended for pervs who were lusting after their brother's wives, or a man who does not have honest intentions towards his brothers family, obviously!
Even if you don't agree, questioning what Allah made xalaal (and as you can see, for wonderful reason) ...?

It's a brilliant tradition. Old school Somalis were wise. Ignore the airheads.

The Massai also have this "dumaal" tradition.
