Racism or no?

So the black boss calls the white worker into his office and just tells him he's fired because his pink skin annoys him. Haye, continue.
lol, you know what I mean.

Let's say the boss was making a bunch of snide comments for months and finally fires the white guy for a minor infraction a black guy had previously gotten away with.

Is it racism?

No. Because that cadaan guy will find it a lot easier to get rehired again. He could even sue the company for wrongful dismissal. Statistics show that cadaans are twice as likely to get a job more than a black guy even if they have the same educational background and work experience. The reality is Racism is about a system and power. That cadaan dude doesn't have to watch his back against cops. That cadaan dude driving a nice car will be given the benefit of the duobt. He could even smoke weed whilst driving his nice car. Studies have show that cops are much more likely to stop you, arrest you and a jury convict you if you are black compared to being white. This is even after statistics showing whites are more likely or just as likey to be in possession of illegal substances than blacks and hispanics.

Gamer has a point, who is more privileged and powerful than the president and chief in commander of the United States and his First Lady? Their role is to unite the people they lead. Would you accept a Somali president who always praises his or her tribe to motivate them to excel more than the other tribes? The idea that racism should only be focused what comes out of the mouth of the White person's mouth or their actions and not the coloured person's mouth is itself a mental slavery where the later has been convinced that they are inferior to the White person. People should be treated and be responsible to one another equally. You can't call a white person "a trash" because it is racism unless you carry the victim card and consider yourself an inferior person to them. Racism is a two way street. No ifs and buts.

This is not racism, they Obama family is celebrated for being the first black family in the white house. So they are not allowed to celebrate the people they represent the most i.e. the black community. America is a big melting pot and having race issues like no where else. White privilege exist like how Somali privilege exists. If the majority of residents are cadaan of course there is always a lenience towards your own, cadaans are humans and are not immune to this. And if we where to even bring up statistics, the black community has the worst statistics of crime than any other group.

I understand the concept of white privilege (or any majority privilege tbh), but I don't really get the idea that racism has to always be tied to any sort of power system. The most openly bigoted people I've met are African-Americans who seem to have absolutely no qualms about giving people shit because of their ethnic or religious backgrounds. Whenever they're called out, they resort to the old "we can't be racist, we're black" bullshit, even when they're low-level bureaucrats (almost always fat African-American women) at the DMV who are worse than cancer and make life as difficult as possible for you.

Like Machiavelli said, this shit is a cop out that ironically makes it seem that minority groups are unable to view themselves as being anything but inferior.

When she used the term 'black' who was she referring to? I don't get it tbh, black is subjective; what is black? Skin colour? Black doesn't exist as a complexion...

What she meant was 'african' American's rock. I.E. Those with a shared history of slavery.
:notsure:
They use black becayse they don't know what and who they are. I object to the use of the word black. Should of said 'bantu', they are all related in that sense.

Racism can be tied to power systems sxb. The Nazi, White Europeans of the past, and even some Gulf arabs today use this. Power+racist ideology is the worst combination walahi. Just look at the Nazi era, the world went to war. American slavery and the mindset of the people back then is looked down on now. Racism is not over and will always exist, its just part of human nature. The thing to watch out for is when a majority group has a racist mentality + power that is when things can take a bad turn.

Ina adeer, no one is denying that racism doesn't exist and white men are still privileged at the business end of the financial and institutions of education. You are wrong in assuming that only blacks in America have twice elected Obama on their own, therefore the First Lady should use divisive and racist terminology to encourage the black Americans. With only the black vote, Obama would have been a flop contender like Jessie Jackson. The whites also voted for Obama for the hope that America can rid of this terminal disease called racism. What is the best way to approach? In my opinion, the best way to approach is through education and the black people to take responsibility of their families and children to aspire to succeed. The Jewish people were the most hated and discriminated entity in the Western world some 70 years ago. They figured out if they succeed financially and educationally, they might have a role in joining the ruling class. They succeeded. Blacks should emulate them.

My argument is that what Michelle Obama did was not racist, the people pointing it out as racist are the real racists. They would not had a problem if he was celebrating Irish, Italian, even Mexican communities. Obama was not elected on his policies but rather on his appearance which is just hypocrisy considering this. Why cant the first black president be more helpful to his community and roots? Are black girls not considered American to? Should Obama just forgot he is black when he is faced with black issues? See these people who spout all this Obama said something racist are the same people who said he was Muslim, same people who deny his progress, same people ask for his birth certificate. A lot of America is just f-king racist to the core.
