The International Community just wants someone to deal with...that's all.
Amisom will provide the security....the NGOs will service the destitute and the "politicians" will skim their share.
This is the basic model being implemented more or less everywhere in Somalia. :)

do you have any proof to your claims murax or should we take it for your word, i would actually love to read an article proving just this. thanks in advance :D

Have zero proofs, at the end of the day Allah only knows but I'm just taking a educated guess. Lets face it, in the South no Somali forces liberate regions by themselves without AMISOM/Ethiopia. When You look at for instance How from Xamar, all the way down past Baraawe whoever pays the salaries, logitistics, planning for AMISOM/Gov saw that this is a priority. Now When You look at Jubbaland You see a entire region in the hands of AS (Middle Jubba) Baardheere one of the most important towns in Gedo/Jland in the hands of AS. Jammamae, Jilib, etc. same thing.

The question is why hasn't AMISOM's financial backers (The West), AMISOM, IGAD seen empowering Madoobe as a important task? If You perhaps know enlighten us.

Since when does Absame settle Jamaame or Jilib? Both these areas are in the hands of native non Darood AS, mainly Dir (Jamaame) and Hawiye (Jilib).

Even this topic was posted in the Ogaden section. :pac:

Siday Habesha islahaayeen uga carara ayuu Gabre kaga soo daba galay the Jubbas. :pac:
Xildiid,
Saaxiib I didn't want to respond and waste my time on this useless thread where haters of OGs are consoling each other in finally realizing the facts on the ground. But for you let me provide you a brief history of Jamaame and Jilib. Prior to other Somalis being afraid of the power of Ogaden, Somalis were elected from where their clans lived during the 1960s civilian government with the exception of Yusuf Dheere of Ogaaden/Reer Isaac who Iidoors sent to the parliament from Hargaisa because of maternal connections. In the three parliamentarian elections during the civilian elections, Jamaame sent two OGs to the parliament each time. There was one time a Mareexaan was elected because of his connection of the powerful Reer Hilowle of Reer Isaaq connections.
Cumar Macalin was a long time Somali diplomat and was the first Somali ambassador to the United States and is the grandfather of the Mataano sisters; here he is welcoming President Abdriashid to Washington; watch at 3:38

And his brother Hilowle Macalin elected from Jamaame was the first Somali defense minister:
http://www.banadir.com/63s.htm

As for Jilib, Xuseen Jiis who was Bahgeri, Ogaaden had it in lockdown for the entire duration of the civilian government. 80% of the farms in Jilib and Jamaame are owned by OGs. Use common sense

Axmed Madoobe has robbed Ogaden in trying to satisfy nonexistent minority clans and the so-called IGAD governments. A close friend of former Ethiopian ambassador to Kenya who was Ogaden told me that it was Gabre who literally saved Huuraale from being annihilated by the Jubbaland forces. Ethiopians and Gabre are using Mareexaan in Gedo as bargaining chip to keep the OGs in check.

If you are Absame or Ogaadeen, you are have to focking feel ashamed because we let our people down by allowing people like Ilka-yar to claim our lands. Think about, in 1960s democratic elections, here is how the seats were distributed in Upper and Lower Jubba:
https://operationoverload.wordpress.com ... 1960-1969/
For Upper Jubba which then included the entire Gedo: Absame/Ogaaden always got:
the two seats from Baardheere
2 seats from Xudur
2 seats from Luuq; funny that the current foreign minister of ONLF ancestors always had one of those seats. Maadeey was born in Luuq.

For Lower Jubba:
Afmadow 4
Jilib 2
Jamaame 2

Total OGs had was 13 including Yusuf Dheere from Hargeisa. We almost had the same number of seats as the entire Digil and Mirifle. Now here is where you should feel ashamed, minority clans like Ilka-yar are challenging you in Jubbaland.
https://operationoverload.wordpress.com ... 1960-1969/
Give them credit, Harti Waamo outsmarted us in getting all the 3 seats in Kismayo.

Guhad,

There were MJ MP's that came out Baydhabo and places that's traditionally not Majerteen deegaan. The same goes for other clans. Everything was rigged in those elections.

However Jamaame is Biyamaal territory with Surre living there as we'll followed by the Jareerweyne. Ogaden live in the town just like other Somalis but we're talking about deegaan ahaan cidda iska leh.

Jilib is more diverse but once again the majority of the town is the Hawiye affiliated Sheikhaal followed by Jareerweyne and Dir.

The AS man who controls the huge areas of Middle Jubba is Dir, Gaadsan which is a sub clan of Biyamaal.

what planet are u living in mate, first of all biyomal have no presence in jilib what so ever, there is only a small minority that live in jamame and they are even insignificant.

jamamme is dominated by jareerweyne, and the reason i say that is because jammame is a farming area and the only ppl that are known for farming in that area are jarerweyne and dm, along with daroods who own farmlands, as for jilib if u ever visited jilib u will notice that the southern part of jiib is dominated by the jareerweyne farming communities and the northern part is dominated by ogaden pastorials who use the river banks to feed thier livestock and their land streches all the way the bu alle.

biyomal's traditional land is marka go and help them defend their land from inda cadde if u care you damn shababist

The AS leader who's in control of Jilib district starting from Hargeysa yareey all the way into Saakow district, is Gaadsan (Biimaal), most of his troops are from his clan and neighboring clans such as the Sheikhaal (majority in eastern parts of Middle Jubba), Digil and Midhifle and Wagosha. Sheikhal (USC) in the 90's controlled the entire Jilib district and they were known for their ruthless isbaaros.

Jamaame and the 200 tuulos that come under Jamaame district is controlled by Biyamaal and the Wagosha/Mushungli. The latter got equal numbers in that region. Historically, the slave rebellion in the Jubbas and Lower Shabelle was between the Biyamaal and the Wagosha/Mushungli. Even the war with the Italians started when the Italians tried to monopolize the slave trade.

An Isaaq poet in Berbera in the late 1800's said in a poem.
Biyomaal Baraawiyo fadhiya, wabiga baaciisa
Iyana Buundo dabadeed ma cunin bur iyo iidaane
Biddoodkii Kismaayoodna, ways wada bog dooxeene
It shows you who controlled the area from Baraawe all the way to Kismaayo prior to the arrival of the Italians and that the Wagosha/Mushungli were subjects to Biyamaal before Nasiib Buundo (AUN) liberated his people from the Biyamaal Sultanate.

Biyamaal control their land in Lower Shabeelle, both their farms and the commercial farms.

Lool.

Jammaame is strictly Biimal and Bantu. No other lamagodles there.

Secondly, Jilib is a mixture of Bantu, Digil Mirifles, Sheekhal, Bimaal and other small Samales. The majority being Bantu.

Look at any colonial accounts and you will see how the clan boundaries panned out.

To argue the Biimal are not the majority Somalis in Jammaame and a significant presence in Jilib district is infantile.
