Re: Speaking of xagbaad/ayuuto
I wanted once to join one. The lady was Konfurian. They told me ask her for ayuuto but on the way I forgot the word so when she opened the door. Greeted and all. I said eedo aayyad ma haysa? She scratched her head and told me istaaqfurullah eedo aayda ma dhaqano Muslim ayan nahay.
Apparently I asked her if she was a dog breeder.
Then I told her oo eedo gormay halbaadu noqotay Haram? Ma kuwi yaryara ba sida yidhi? She laughed hard and said eedo ayuuto ma rabta sida camal ma ii dhehdidooo macbuudka iyo Abdiqadir Jaylaaniiyo.
True story. I never did business with Konfurian again.

Hagbed is like having a saving acount. But for me I prefare a normal saving account. Although most of my family are in a hagbed, it's not really me. It puts too much weight on people.

^ Stupid vowels
I made the thread past my bedtime, so excuse the spelling.
lol @ WaaliCas
I daresay this has the same pressure as a savings account with automatic withdrawals? lol

Re: Speaking of xagbaad/ayuuto
But it's your savings lol? I could understand the point if you somehow had a bonus, but you don't.
I felt bad spending my xagbad cashout, I just put it in my savings. (After splurging a bit lol)

Hagbad does not suit some people, and it suits others ...it's that simple.
It is great if you want an interest-free loan, or are incapable of saving and need
the discipline of a saving circle
I'm entering one as soon as I finish studying, in order to pay off
the student debts

No one will allow a lone male to enter their xagbaad.COOL-MAN wrote: How do you go about it.
Does one ask random bilcaamo in the street
You need to find yourself a female relative, preferably an older lady.. and ask her to help you find a hagbad, she will act on your behalf.. she wont touch your money but if anything goes wrong I.e. you don't pay on time or you do a runner once you get paid.. she'll be held responsible.. but they would never allow a new and random person to get the first pay out, they always get the last share till you prove yourself.
