Same here I would like to see a Somali female prime minister if not president but I think there's a hadith that says curse the people who are ruled by a Woman. It is not belittling the women but they shouldn't bear such responsibilities as they were not created that way.

I am sorry, I rather NOT see a woman be president in Somalia. The idea is grotesque and unnatural.

Basra- wrote:LOOOL She could be educated in Harvard, have another degree from Yale, and one more astrophysics degree from Oxford, and she will still be seen as a woman with naasoo in the eyes of the Somali Farahs in Somalia. She should take care, albeit an idiot pulling a Taliban self bomb on her. I would say, she should go find herself a posh job in the west and enjoy life! :)
True. Unfortunately she's disqualified because she's a woman. How sad!

But I wouldn't advise her to risk her life for a country that is beyond repair. Somalia is gone and it will take decades of hard work just to make it half right.

Muslim women should not be leaders. Until a Muslim WOman can lead prayers in a mosque, that should tell u that it is irrelevant!
