With due respect to your outdated thoughts of women because women proved to be successful leaders, shrewd businesswomen, elite academics, professionals such as surgeons, engineers, scientists and eminent thinkers, let us not turn this thread into a gender war. We are discussing why some women are attracted to death row inmates.
how is it off topic when you was calling them crazy?

this is about the personal relationships and not about handling a job

anyways im out!
Ibna 3amo, I was only asking a rhetorical question why some not all women marry death row inmates. Is it love or they are crazy. You haven't said bad things but expressed an outdated fikra. That is all and don't take my intervention towards you personally because there are many trolls here (off course not you) whose only contribution is insulting women. Your opinion is noted and I have many close friends and male family members who have similar opinions as yours. We can't all think the same way. Diversity of opinions is a bliss.

Some women are just downright crazy waxaan oo kale love lama dhaho. I personally know two girls who married convicted murders. One of the guys doing time is Somali and the crazy girl who married him Turkish.

Here in Denmark there is this very famous murderer named Peter Lundin, this guy have been married more times than most men can claim while being behind bars. These Crazy women ayaga ayaa soo raadsada every single one of them. First time he was doing time for killing his own mother and second time for killing his girlfriend and her two kids while he was on probation. The crazy thing he still managed to get multiple girlfriends and two wives even after he killed this woman and her kids.
All this because they saw him in a stupid documentary film and fell in love with him. So yeah some women waa qac iyo nus.

According to legendary philosopher and psychoanalyst Al Bundy, love is not only blind but stupid too.

ibno camo? r you troll casanova lol

my opinion is not out-dated bc aint against women

I have seen many women who were like that but most of them had similar personalities except two

a girl from a good family who was in love with a drug dealer who has been to prison

despite all her family being against him she married him

but subhanallah this girl has changed him totally

they have children now and he goes to work....

but I still cant figure out what she liked in him and why she put her life in danger bc theres no guarentees...

the second girl is very educated and very beautiful and for this reason a lot of men were after her

shes related to me so I know shes regreting now

she rejected all the great men who asked her hand from her family

one of them was an economist guy who hails from a powerful family and is related to her through his mother who knows the family

another guy was a well off and from a business family

finally her family has let her alone until she brought to them this shaxari loser

omg where all her cvs gone

just cant believe it!

It's not love

It's a mental condition

Could be. But isn't love a mental condition? Physiologically it is actually. Various glands release substances and before you know it, lovers develop a schizophrenic induced insanity .

I think the answer lies in the fact that despite human evolution, we have kept alot of the underlying markers of our cousins; primates.

Blackvelvet when you say mental condition

Do you mean these guys might be genius psychopaths that use their manipulation tactics on perhaps mentally vulnerable people.

If you think that I think that too.

Or maybe I am miss understanding

 that it is. Apparently love and how we experience it is very similar to drug users. They did a study and found that the same parts of the brain light up in both cases

So addiction, a high....

But for people who fall in love with criminals and in most cases criminals they've never met, it's an illness. It's not about the person. It's a form of hero complex whereby they feel they can save them. The name wu ii gafey but I'll find it

You mean from the criminal's perspective? That's a very interesting point you've raised. Why do they accept and encourage what, even to them, must seem strange

I say leave us to love the criminals in peace. Besides, who is a criminal and not is all subjective and full of gray areas.

Did you not recently read about the man jailed for 36 years only to find out the poor man was innocent all along.

:)

BV, Hero syndrome?

I don't think so. I think there is an underlying biological reason.

Actually, it might be argued that the love bug is most potent when there is some distance involved. Access is an important factor; If you live together or meet ur “lover” unhindered, then there is no longing, crave to taste the forbidden fruit (which underlies many cases) and vital factors needed for the love bug to surface.

From a biological context, love is nothing more than longing, desire to get something....

Is it really love if what you are in-love with is the idea of having them or chasing them but not the actual person? I would have thought love comes with intimacy and wanting to spend time with the person

In my mind the only difference between love (i.e. the emotion we know to feel for those we are closest with e.g. family) and being in-love, is that when the latter is involved you feel all the emotions of traditional love plus you are physically attracted to the person. Nothing exciting or particularly different - you just met someone who you love like a family member but who you would also like to and can "bone"

Out of curiosity, what happens when they successfully "save" these criminals, does the love go away since it's mission accomplished?
