It is true that there are no direct flights right now and that they are all connecting flights. But what I am arguing for is that Puntland give one or two local companies monopoly on flights in-out of Puntland once Bosaso and Garowe airports are completed.
The fact is that RajoAir has to go through the same cities but is 40% to 50% cheaper. Juba-Dallo should be shown the door.

Rajo Air, a Puntland based airline offers flights from Dubai-Bosasso $290 and Dubai to Galkacyo $350. That is a difference of $260 and $400.
They are obviously overcharging Puntites because they have so much market share.
Once Bosaso and Garowe airports are completed, hopefully Puntland will give monopoly to Rajo Air.
We must have a policy of supporting home-grown companies.
