Its almost impossible for a muslim person to buy a house in the uk or else where in europe without paying interest. Unless paid in full of course

For those that dont care for the after life or the atheists amongst us its a fairly easy process to own your own property. Unlike the cadaans us somalis can easily save 10-15k deposit without going to the bank. Manage to get that together and make sure you have reasonable paying permanent job and voila, buy a 3 bedroom property slightly outside london and rent the other 2 rooms out...

I honestly dont get the big fuss of not being able to buy a property in the uk...the slightly overweight middle aged woman working the tills at lidle owns her own property. if only islamic bank of britain could offer us muslims an alternative to these unislamic financial options...

I think it does, but I think it's not totally xalaal due to it's dealings with Lloyds & TSB & other banks... Allahu aclam though.

Make sure you take out the correct mortgage. If you take out a residential mortgage then rent out your property, once the lender finds out you're screwed. Read the small print
