Even somalilanders know hargeisa has the worst roads in all somaliland. Burao has the best town plan in the country followed by berbera which is government owned city. Smaller cities can be organized easily. Hargeisa is hugely privatized and the worst thing is every inch was already filled with a building, demolishing one building can cost hundreds of thousands to the local council which we can't afford at the moment.

By the way there is no reason isaaqs should get mad about jigjiga its not even a cagdheer city and no one can prevent us if we are interested to move into it. Yes there were more isaaqs than ogadens in jigjiga during the 90s for two reasons. There was civil war in somaliland at that time and the top dabaqodhis were mainly isaaq or non ogadens. Today things are the opposite all isaaqs are interested hargeisa even habarjeclos. The different betweens ogs and isaaqs is you guys always invest outside your degaan cities like mogadishu, nairobi, jigjiga etc. While we invest our deegaan first. Do you disagree that fast majority of ogadens in jigjiga came from the eastern regions ? Jigjiga has never been considred as ogaden deegaan and its not going to be even if all ogs fill the whole city. Remember xamar majority of the people where darod especially ogaden immigrants from ogadenia and look today its unbelievable how all somalis were removed xamar except hawiye. No somali thought xamar could be like this 30 years ago. Back to jigjiga yes there are some oromised ogs in baabile but if you look at jigjiga area and its surroundings its Jidwaaq,sacad muse and samaron deegaan followed by smaller clans like the barsuug. I dont think the ogs in babile were historicaly linked to the somalis in jigjiga, they must be from deep in western liibaan originally .

You cant compare xamar to jigjiga noooooo way, and the only place isaaqs gets any connection to jigjiga is xarsin which is part of gobolka faafan, markaa jigjiga is now considered as a Ogaden stronghold. Historically ogadens has been around jigjiga but not the town you have to remember ogadens were nomads and wouldnt leave their camels. libaan is not an ogaden gobol and its faaar away from jigjiga, its closer to gedo than it is to jigjiga markaa your knowledge on Ogaden deegans can be argued.

Jigjiga was always a shared town more sacad muuse and Arab then Absame till the 1990s. Jigjiga district itself is majority non daarood, in the north the gedabursi in the south the sacad muuse, only qabribayax is Absame Abuskuul town. The ogaadeen have zero settlement in the district. In the 1940s back to when jigjiga was founded in the 1890s as an Abyssinian fort the Absame had no settlement in the town.
