gegiroor

Ina adeer, those Muslims who could afford to live in a house (dogs need space) and want to have dogs in their homes won't visit Somalinet for the Fatwa of Imam gegiroor. This Somali hatred/cabsi of dogs is cultural and not religious. I've asked similar questions to Muslims in the Gulf who had multiple dogs in their homes, the answer I got was, the earlier decisions reached by scholars was based upon the spread of rabies and it was decided against. Therefore it was xikmah based for their temporary ban. Marka let us not bring our traditional prejudices towards this issue and twist it into a Fatwa from Amir gegiroor.

There was a huge pitbull running around loose out here, I saw everyone running inside cars specially somalis lol. When it ran towards me I gave him a verbal command, and started patting the dog until the owner showed up.

They are generally sweet animals.

*rubs eyes* :ohhh:

* reads thread again* :Obama:

I see the Glorious Reformation is making some serious headway and finding acceptance in beesha Somalinet. Couldn't believe it first, so I read the thread a 2nd time, and I see multiple Snetters from a variety of leanings(conservative, traditional, liberal, etc), all agreeing that a established-by-consensus ruling( dogs = filthy najas) that has been set in stone over the past 1400 years is actually being seen for what it is: purely cultural(sheeko Ay-rab) and actually has nothing to do with Islam. Dogs are no different than cats, and both can be kept as pets for any reason or no reason at all. Personally speaking, I'm scared of dogs due to my Somali Haplob E17834Hds gene( /s); so I have no desire to keep them as pets, but if any other Muslim wants to have dogs as pets, it is not only perfectly halal, but beneficial in so many ways. I would tottally get a kalb if I wasn't scared of them.

Not bad, not bad at all. I thought the Glorious Reformation would take at least another century before all of the khuraafaat and khuzacbalaat that has been polluted into Islam over the past 1400 years are removed, but now, I'm cautiously optimistic that 50 years from now, Muslims around the globe will accept that we need to live in the present and focus on the future, and let go of all of the heavy chains of dogma, superstition, sectarian division, and fundamental ignorance, that has been passed down through the centuries and presented to us as: "This is Islam". No, no it's not. It's qashin-bullshit is what it is. Qashin-bullshit that has kept the heavy boot of the tyrants pressed on the heads of the suffering masses in the name of "listen and obey waliyul-amr"; Qashin-bullshit that has kept women stuck at home, unable to travel freely, seek an education, and unable to unleash their Ebbe-given brilliance, creativity, and innovation. Qashin-Bullshit that has dehumanized and oppressed entire communities of hundreds of millions of human beings as "filthy shia" and "filthy Bah'ai" and "filthy Ahmedis". Yaab badanaa, you put your fucked up beliefs on a pedestal and insist it cannot be criticized or changed(bidah! bidah!), yet in the very same sentence, the very same breath, you deliberately insult and offend hundreds of religious minorities living in Muslim lands as "filthy" and deny them basic human rights??? Sheeko, sheeko. These mother-hubbards are beyond trifling.

Up next for the Reformation:

Cabaya/Niqab/Burqa = purely cultural and has nothing to do with Islam  I'd like to see a massive wacyi-gelin process that pushes this point, so that beesha xaawo have the ability to decide for themselves how to dress without the threatening specter of hellfire keeping them in mental, emotional, and spiritual bondage.

sheekada ahayd "waliyul amr" = pure self-serving bullshit used to keep the masses down and legitimize tyrannical dynasties that would make the Lannisters look saintly(Ummayads, Abbasids, Safavids, Ottomans, Al-Sacuud etc).

Al'walaa wal baraa: an archaic and reactionary concept that was conceived at a time when religon-based warfare was sweeping the globe; given the world we live in where the worst enemy of Muslims are other Muslims(both devout or not) and where the greatest support and helper of Muslims are non-Muslims(Ebbow dhowr beesha secular-liberal), al'walaa wal baraa has to be relegated to the distant dark past where it belongs.

The Reformation is Coming, my bruddas  Yes it will be uncomfortable for many of you, but better ye accept it willingly, rather than have me, Leftist Jid-Toosiye(the Reformer), shove it down your throat.

There is no justification for allowing a dog into your house, as they are impure. The hadiths expressly forbid the keeping of dogs in your home, but it is perfectly permissible to keep dogs if they live outside your home.

I would understand if you built your dog a little dog house and you let him roam your backyard, or ranch, or farm. I have cousins in Somalia who own farms and they own several dogs to help them secure the land. If I were to purchase a dog, it would be for that reason.

I think the woman in that video is onto something else. If she needs to guard her house, why didn't she order a security system? It is all about people who are backed by forces that we have no clue and who want to change Islam from within!

First, it was Hijab. Now it is dogs. What is the next?

 bal is dejji, i just remembered idman's thread & decided to post this.

A security alarm system would not go to walks with her to the woods. They live in a pretty isolated area, so a dog i guess gives her security. I think you should get xaajiyadaada a dog as well so she's safe when she's out.
Regarding why it lives indoors? Well i guess she wants to shield it from the harsh winters. Still anigu ey guriga lugu haystoo ma aaminsani because to me animals should live outside in their natural environment.

One of the other reasons she got a dog is for her sick child she mentions it here:

That's the part Udun missed because he was in rush to judge her.
