They are an existential threat to the future of our people. They are at war with us, and we are at war with them.

May Allah give us victory over these degenerate savages.
Trying to make a worldwide social issue into somali cultural & religious problem!

Inshallah! But as I see now they dominate the debate & monopolize it on social media & tv when the topic comes to somalis & Islam!

They don't allow for us to correct it or voice our opinion with out them just blocking people and throwing insult and hate around!

So much for they're equality & justice crap when they want to hear opposing opinions & critics!
Very narcissistic group!

The one sidedness of it all!

They are always right! Is there motto!

Ironically they don't fight for equality! They are just racist & sexist! Very much opportunistic!

More more somalis fed with this nonsense ideology in school where they teach gender studies!

It's a losing battle when idiots assume feminism is good cause & fed lies! So they can avoid responsibility & push victim propaganda!

Some of her relatives read it and spoke to her parents. They told her to stop embarrassing her family and so she was forced to take down the video.

She's projecting the life led by her Salafi parents onto the rest of us. I have never experienced this in my life, nor have my sisters, female cousins, or aunts. I bet if we look into the families of these twitter Somali feminists, they all have mothers who wear burqas who probably then forced them to cover before they even understood what a hijab symbolized and absentee dads ( probably with multiple wives). I know this is true for Riya and a few other Somali twitter feminists.

Instead of projecting her issues onto the whole community, she needs to address the issues that exist within her own family because this "ceeb" culture exists in HER environment. It took her 10+ years to tell them she was raped because of the "ceeb" culture that exists in her family. Her family were also the ones who pressured her to take down the video. I don't see how this is about our community as a whole? :?

Look at most of u arguing Somalia is good to its females. Like many countries, they always have been second class citizens.

Wow, you've stooped so low bro. Yo, you're worse than a social media sjw, you're a social media anti-sjw. Young, Diasporia Somalis on social media are skewed heavily towards liberalism (personal freedoms.) Your crusade is like shouting at the sun, commanding it not to rise, it is quixotic. If, as allies, you choose those nothing, male youths, who, privileged by the freedom afforded in a gender strict culture, wish to "put Xalimos in their place," so be it.

@Buranbuur, just because her particular circumstance isn't entirely normative, you cannot completely dismiss her message. You act as if she was the only one contributing/relating to her hashtags :usure: Or maybe they're all just lashing out at bad/extremist parents.

It's common sense, which, as they say, isn't so common.
