They didn't live in that community and their presence exacerbated tensions between them and the White people who lived in that gated community.
The Cops did use excessive force, and the Cops involved should have been suspended for what they did. I think most people would agree with that.
But what I don't understand is why Blacks on social media insist on associating with people who refuse to associate with them! Why? If the people of a certain community don't like your presence, then why not just distance yourself away from them? What's with this weak mentality where you beg others to accept you?
That last part doesn't make sense at all.
Who are "the people they try to associate themselves with" ?
I'm not talking about these miskeen teenagers. I've already acknowledged that the Cops should be harshly punished for what they did. What the Police did was unacceptable. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THESE TEENAGERS.
I'm talking about the reaction you see on social media, where Black journalists and political commentators are talking about how they aren't accepted in White spaces. All I was saying was that it would be far better for Blacks to create their own spaces, where they don't have to seek anyone's acceptance. The weak mentality I was talking about, can be seen all over Twitter and Facebook.
See for it yourself. Go on Twitter. You'll see what I'm talking about.
That's a Straw Man right there if I ever saw one.
Nobody is seeking "White" acceptance, that is some Kumbaya, "How can we make Somalia a superpower?" nonsense right there.
The cop was wrong, you admitted it, leave it at that. But, noooo, Kaafiye gotta hate on the lowly blacks.
Everyone on Social Media and the Mainstream Media is talking about the Officer's actions. SOME are quick to accept the black kids' account of what led up to Police being called. And SOME OTHERS are inclined to accept the Gated Community Residents' account.
I'll post them here:
