Somaliland is trying to lift itself off from the shackles of Qabilism to a platform of Qaranism which will lead to a well earned and an overdue recognition.
Sheekada localka ka bax and look at the horizon and beyond.
There is no benefit whatsoever to get emotional about Isaq/somalanders men who have different take on the politics and future direction of Somalia/Somaliland.
We should pride ourselves at been independent and mature enough to address issues concerning people from Somaliland who still wish for unionism.
Educating people and articulating as to why Somaliland is better off not joining the South is a lot more healthier than just to rely on raw emotions.
I had to answer this separately ...
The opinion I have on this man has nothing to do with "emotion" iyo "sheeko local ah".
I honestly do not hold anything against Isaaq/Landers who want unionism (which is the default ideal position if we look to reason),
Xitaa I would not attempt to convince them otherwise.
Laakin we do NOT live in a world where debates always hold sway and where people people can still
respect each other despite holding very different opinions (this is especially true for Soomaalida when it comes to politics).
The way I see it, for this reason you can't afford to be always open with those you disagree with
especially if they take action which undermines your position or they collude with your enemies
I respect your position and I can see the bigger picture you are talking about ...laakin we are in the Horn of
Africa not some Utopian wonderland, there are thousands upon thousands of people from Amisomland
who would love to see SL burn to the ground. I am NOT gonna be respectful to a man who works for them
