Source or it didn't happen. If anything this makes Puntland the desperate party (i mean come on moving the capital coz you didn't have ur way in jubaland parliamentary set up process?). Any HG who sits down with puntland president to discuss about central state should be shot right in the brain 8-)

This was proposed by none other than Nicholas Kay. He told Central State the current administration will be a temporary one. For the Central State to have a real legitimate Federal State recognized by the Federal Constitution they will need Mudug, and not some of it but all of it.

So he proposed a grand compromise, all parties are reviewing it but nothing needs to be signed for a whole another year.

Let's just say the next few months are about to be getting very interesting. :stylin: :eat: :dj:

The only thing that is for certain is that Galkacyo will need to be a unified city. How that happens is anyones guess. But I don't think central state agreed to Puntland having 45% seat share. That is too much. It will become a Darod state with the Marehan added into the 45% mix

Central State will be a two Gobal state and one of that gobal Mudug is pretty much 95% darood and the other 35% Darood. 45% of the seats is too small but for the sake of compromise we will take it. :ugeek:

Cabudwaaq Balanbale Goldogob Jariiban 75% of galkacyo and half of Dhuusamareeb. .

.Cadado Xarardheer, Ceel Dheer, Hobyo, Ceelbuur, and 25% of galkacyo, half Dhuusamareeb

If it happens, which it will, no way breaking up mudug, it will be a darood and hawiye state evenly...dir and others will be the middle getting seats from a good number of districts.

Marexaan will get seats from galkacyo and Goldogob since Wagerdhac live there.

This is not going to happen. MJ and HG will never compromise and work for the greater good of Somalia. a lot of mistrust form both sides. Anyway Galkacyo is too small and unorganized to be a capital

You know what they say, Never say Never.

Capital cities need to be small and well secure, it's only African mentality for the capital to be the biggest city in the country.

Xamar will continue to be the commercial capital of the country but the political capital will be moved.

btw this is so far the only legitimate logical process for a real federal state to come into reality in the Central region.
