Lol, it's not like Zionist are actually decrying him for hosting the event?ZubeirAwal wrote:Masha Allah, the predator-drone dispatching commander in chief paid attention to a Somali girl at some zionist-funded iftar in the White House, isn't life so great.

This woman said that for real? She's supposed to be a PR ambassador for Muslim Americans?Yuvun wrote:

No such thing as average Somali family....there are lots of successful families who have kids that are not successful they are homeless or in jail. Having successful parents doesn't not guarantee success in most cases it makes people lazy and privileged. We should stop making excuses for someone's success and just congratulate them.Somaliman% wrote:Prlnce wrote:She is fully aware of the sacrifice her parents made the blood, sweat and tears they spilled. She also speaks highly of her Somali father. The thing I like and respect her for is what she does with her Non-Profit organization of educating East African girls realizing and how important is to help build your community up instead of tearing them downiandi wrote:congratulations to that young student who i am sure is fully aware of the people who spilled blood so that doors like these are now open to people like them.
Again congrats and well done!Amira does not come from an average somali family. She comes from a highly educated family. Her mother is educated to masters level and has a really good job. Her great grand father was a famous poet and he educated her grand father. Her father is a millionaire and has his own company. Although her parents are divorced she was bought up really well and given private education where she thrived. We can't compare her to qaxooti kids with illiterate parents.iandi wrote:congratulations to that young student who i am sure is fully aware of the people who spilled blood so that doors like these are now open to people like them.

It is the sign of over-achieving, hustling having a clear goal in life and being active and not being lazy.SaciidAyanleh wrote:Starting a Non-profit as teenager is almost always a sign of privilege.
Good for her though, she has the spirit to be someone big

The excuses they are making is comical....they can't say congratulations and move on. Homeless people start non-profits ...victims starts nonprofits. All you need to start a nonprofit is time, passion and cause you believe in and last thing you need is funds which you can get from fundraising, government grants or corporate sponsors.Kaafiye wrote:"A sign of privilege" kulahaSaciidAyanleh wrote:Starting a Non-profit as teenager is almost always a sign of privilege.

Why don't you just admit that you are @Payitforward87? Don't be introducing these foreign terms into the Somali lexicon.
