Before Abdiweli, Dr Farole kept everything in check and kept Mogadishu at bay. He did not only keep Puntland together but he kept her alive as a custodian of the federal constitution and the roadmap for the federalization of Somalia. Today, Puntland has lost that and has no say in any federal formation. They could split Bari into two and Abdiweli will be too weak to stop it.
He has already failed in southern Mudug where various groups are competing for dominance.
Under Abdiweli Puntland also lost its most important symbolic power; autonomy hence why Africa Energy quit Puntland. This is big moral defeat and major victory for the Hutu camp.
Rather than pretend, Puntlanders must mobilize and bring Abdiweli in front of a jury.
Without the federal position and without its symbolic autonomous, PL is gone.
Hutus could shut down Bosaasso airport and send the few Chinese home claiming "improper visa entry".
It's time to salvage. Dr Farole was calm and collective but he knew how to move diplomatic moves on the chess board unlike Abdiweli who is probably busy trying to find a pant that fits.
The hutu camp is all talk and no action. Why should we start taking orders from a goverment barely in control of ungadisho villa which is regularly infilterated by terrorists.
Abdiweli is one of the most educated somali leaders if not the most. His thinking longer term with major economy boosting projects like airports of two cities a port all roads paved and many more. He also gets invitations to major africans summits as if his the president of somalia.
The mudug issue is a non issue as far the eye can see.
As for the energy company it's been replaced by another major company. Update on the way.
You should worry about silaanyo not been allowed to speak in public? People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
