I was going to a xaflad one time, this girl I knew and her dad were walking together towards my direction. I tried my best to avoid her but she recognized me and proceeded to have a small conversation with her dad right there. It was so uncomfortable.

If a girl wants you to talk to her parents, it's a sign that she's not playing around and she's serious about keeping her self-worth in check. She respects her parents so much to the point she understood if she respects herself it will reflect on her parent's good image. BUT, nowadays, you might want to be aware of how some girls pretend to be "angels" and their parents play along with it, so the guys can marry their used up, good for nothing daughters. So, don't be too naive.
