Oh I see. When i was in London few years back, i was told most Somalis rent instead of buying a house, because its so freaking expensive.

They said an average house in London costs £500k, which is a Million dollars here.

I understand why 96% of all Somalis in UK don't own properties, because they are priced out.

Here in America, 35% of all Somalis own their houses. Even those who just came into the country.

that is true, london properties are so expensive both to buy and rent however outside london is ok. Birmingham is cheaper then london, a house like that doesnt cost more then 500k£

avaraege london house price is 350k ($700k), it get more expensive as you get closer to central london
