Tongue is usually major causes for bad breath. a trick to people with bad breath---if u find it hard to scrap your tongue --begin a habit of sticking your tongue in the showers every morning. Let the water go through your tongue and mouth for a minute every day---that will solve it. Bacteria finding itself a home on tongue is to blame.

its not races its different people.
Some people produce more plaque than others.
They should brush more thoroughly than others and 3 times a day instead of 2.

Sxb the kind of food you eat also plays a major role too. I know people in Asia use lots of different spices
that unfortunately spice up the bacteria in their mouth.

I eat everything under the sun, every spice you think they eat i eat it too, and i dont have halotosis.
Its all to do with the bacteria not the food, food like garlic only makes your breath stink for a limited time.

its definitely genetic..

I brush twice a day and have good hygiene, and after a very sweet meal, i chew gum.
I have a brother that is on one end of the spectrum, he produces more plaque naturally, and had a bad breath problem for years,
after years of denial he listened to my adviced and started brushing more than everyone else,
and chewing gum after every meal.
problem solved. even though he brushed as much as i did, he had to do more to solve the problem

I have another brother that is on the other end of the spectrum,
he brushed his teeth once a day, sometimes forgets to do it, does not chew gum.
His breath is perfect everyday, all the time...

it 100% genetic

This always made me wonder. I have seen many people from different walks of life with horrible breaths. Is it possible that they really cant smell themselves?

Coz this folks are educated, capable people. It doesnt make sense.

Btw, some do have actual conditions. Stomach acids can make their breath stink.
