Marriage is not about equality. More often than not it's about resources and reproduction, it serves a purpose.
So yes, you could in actual fact marry more than one man. It has happened and continuous to happen in certain cultures where resources are limited and increased labour (via increasing the number of children) is seen to add less value.
We however live in a context where labour does add value therefore men have more wives and have more children.
Logic aside, are you talking about the emotional and physical aspects of the marriage itself? Then the question is would you want to have one husband let alone 2 or 4? Would each of your husbands then also have the opportunity to have 2 or 4 wives? Then if the 4 of your husbands did that and the 16 wives the husbands have in total married 3 other men each, are you in a marriage or is it an intricate swingers club?
