Truth is President Abdiweli Gaas has initiated reforms in PL, and any where in the world a reform is initiated, people don't like change. That is the nature of human beings, and PL is not the exception here. However, the the President of PL - a Harvard graduate - has made a priority to reform in all sectors of the PL government, including the security forces.

This reform is making sure all security forces are accounted for, they have their identity cards, they are found in their respective bases, and they are reporting to work daily.

Not all security forces, but all ministries in PL are are required to be accountable, have a plan that is reviewed quarterly, and they report to work eight hours on daily basis.

This is the first genuine reform initiated in all of Somali territories since the collapse of the Somali central government in 1991.

To those who want to seize the opportunity to take shots at PL due to these reforms, you should understand that this is a reform that is required for all regional and federal governments to undertake.

Under Abdiweli Gaas, PL is proving that it is always ahead of the curve - and the core objective of this reform is to make sure all tax and public funds are accountable, the audit committee is doing their work, and corruption in the system is identified and removed.
