Sad story I knew the boy and the family. Talked to the uncle an hour ago. Family recently moved from Norway. Such a young life cut short. Crown street in acton sealed from all enteries. The place is normally packed with middle aged Somalis and lots of youth especially on Fridays. I don't know how an afghani boy can walk in, kill a boy and walk away unscathed

Came back today around 11am. uncle refuses to let him in, 50 minutes later he was no more. Mum was at work. According to the uncle.

When you get involved in gangs & drug dealing, you should expect to get stabbed. The afghan guy was most likely a rival, so they were prolly fighting over turf. When you sell drugz for a living & you have a problem with someone who does the same thing as you, nobody is actually gonna call the police, so obviously they're gonna sort it out themselves. Today at around 8:00 i set off to Shepherd's Bush and did a meet-up with my cousin whom i haven't really had much contact with for a while, since i'm a workaholic and don't go out much. Sort-of a treat since i'm confined to my house from where i work ( i run a website based off of CSGO). We met, did the usual (caught up on life pretty much). We went to a Afghan restaurant , where we had a nice meal and spoke to the owner, surprisingly we talked about the state of the ummah and how our communities are starting to slowly leave behind our culture (i personally think it's sad but true).
After we left the restaurant. Out of courtesy i offered my cousin cab back home since it was late and cold (around 11ish) , I decided to go with him and take the cab to his house where i dropped him off and went straight to my house with the cab. The cab driver was of Egyptian decent and ironically enough, was from Acton. We exchanged a meaningful conversation about the Deen and he had asked me where i was from, told him Somalia. He told me about the tragic loss of a young Somali brother being stabbed to death, i was honestly speechless. I rarely get touched these days in the sense that i've become immune to hearing such tragedies because of the state of the world, but i would have to say this is really heart breaking to hear, my sincere condolences goes out to him and his family, Irrespective of what kind of person he was.
That being said, browsing through the comments on here about Somali's being viewed in the UK in a certain light and image, is very disappointing. There's so much enriched, ancient history of Somalia in it's glorious days. You'll honestly have to research into it, but for the people that seem to be so focussed about Somali's image in the UK on this thread, you're doing Somali's injustice and yourself. I can give you a brief timeline of the impact & significance we had in Africa, but i think it's in appropriate to mention this on this tread.
