So why hasn't Al-shabaab captured Cadaado, Dhuusmareeb, Guriceel,Hobyo Matabaan etc ? There are no AMISOM there.

We can't handle Al-Shabab without our fufu brothers but we can take on ISIS with our Moryaan alpha group.

Galgudud/,Mudug AS and ASWJ territories are more or less clan boundaries.
AS controlled Dhusamareeb, Mataban, Guriceel until Cayr joined the ASWJ Maareexan and Surre coalition. Without Ethiopian support, the ASWJ clans would have been fucked by AS.
Saleeban have traditionally had a truce with AS and this allowed them to continue with their piracy trade and the use of Xarardheere port. If they opposed AS on their own, wala cuni laha!

Re: breaking: ex atom/abdilqadir mumin group joins ISIS!
Galgala Alshabab are becoming desperate, there is barely 100 hundred of them left in the mountains. They are mostly given aid by the extremists in Burco. PMPF monitors the coast from Bosaso to the west to make sure they don't receive any aid from AQAP in Yemen. If they are to receive any funding from ISIS it will be through the land route through Burco-Ceerigabo and into the mountains.
The Isaaq have been sending their boys who have been made extremists in Burco to join the "jihad" against Puntland. The international community is starting to pay attention to this open door policy which Somaliland has instituted. The recent UN monitoring group report talks about this in the strictly confidential section which was not released to the general public. Somaliland does not allow its terrorists to attack Djibouti; but funnels them to Sanaag and Bari.

That nicca abdiqAdir got married to a 20 something year old xalimo in London when he was there and it wasn't even arranged.
Re: breaking: ex atom/abdilqadir mumin group joins ISIS!
Not xaasidnimo but I agree with xinow for two reasons
1) there r already IS somali diaspora members who were waiting to get access to some region and thats now galgala and golis
2) these groups r known to take advantage of the marginalized and the suppressed clans like they did in the sunni regions of iraq...IS base in eastren syria are the arab minorities bc the same regime who brought them in hasaka have switched to kurds...syrian regime had some policy of divide and rule so he placed a pro-regime minority in every region to suppress the majority
The reason why the westren diplomats were warning from any clan wars in the northern regions is bc these groups will take advantage of the instability.....one local "sheekh" can land there and the people will get their srength in him!
Ethiopia also will find this dangerous so we may see intervention!

So basically all the laangaab clans in Puntland are about to join ISIS? Just like in Iraq, Syria and south Somalia?sahal80 wrote:Not xaasidnimo but I agree with xinow for two reasons

Qaxooti adiga saad rabtid u hadal laakin aniga hadalkeeyga ha weecin!
This is not cayaar cayaar..hadal miizaaman leh ko hadal ama iska aamus
You dont like it, it hurts you, no problem lakin anaga film bug ah hana go madadaalin lol
I said any place that have political instability they can land in it.
the yemeni sunni tribes have joined al qaida and IS...why? There must be a problem in yemen...they see that the coalition is not enough to stop the houths
The first clans who joined al qaida was the hadramout tribes, this is why they never conquered hadramout, who defends it? Al qaida
but now IS is getting popularity among the sunni clans with its brutal explosions against their mosques and the alliance itself
Now they r moving to the north and since these groups use the marginalized and cuqdad-filled clans they will serve as their incubator base...you dont even need to look other clans, any subclan that have some problems they can recruit them
Very clear!

hutuwiye just have take your L.
wasakhgeli hate maJareerten more then anything in the world, if it came to choosing isis over mj they would do it without a second though. also the smaller clans that mj is abusing is fully supporting this sheikh atom, even elements of mj themselves support atom as he is the only ticket to free them certain branch of mj's control.
overall it is a good fight, hawiye al-qaida vs darod isis.
bring on those russian and american aerial bombardment on the hutu and jebarti

Somaliland needs to be vigilant against the ISIS threat emanating from Somalia/Puntland. This is unacceptable.
