Can someone who hasn't got a clue of what an apple is, describe the taste of a tufax?

But hearing about the juiciness, sweetness and crunchy taste of an apple might make one fantasies about eating an apple one day.

^^That's most of us when we read the description of that unfathomable taste in the Holy Quran.

Good way of putting it. It is true that the description of heavenly things are given in a language we can understand and there are no similarities between the things compared. An Apple in here will not be same apple there but superior. A person here is different from a person in heaven, so things share names but are different in quality.

Yet, this is what I wanted to know, a collection of things mentioned in heaven and the options available for someone who toiled in piety(even though no one goes to heaven for any amount of piety they had or worship they performed).

-Wealth is there
-Beauty will be there
-Health will be there
-Youth will be there
-Pleasure will be there without suffering and pain
-Permanent peace will be there,

All these things mentioned above are things we can relate now but that doesn't mean it will be similar. A good example would be how a person would not need to go to the bathroom but rather sweat in place of calls-of-nature(peeing etc), this can only happen with retrofitting humans with the biological capability only Allah is capable of. There will be no annoying monthly period women get. No excuse for downtown for those who make to heaven. All fun. Having babe can be a day's work(I don't know the authenticity of the Hadith but I remember reading having a babe if someone wants doesn't amount to anything, no pain and lots of gain). Just to give an example of how everything is different including humans themselves. Things are familiar yet superior and drastically different. In a way, heaven represents what people aspire to in this world of perfection, good health, ultimate service etc.

Good post. Yes Allah said we will be made "Khalqan Aakhar" as in different creation. As we know it's functionally important one to sleep, answer calls of nature, go through different sets of emotions. But in Jannah, we do not sleep, secrete any type of bodily waste, nor feel sad, ever. The only emotion we feel is singular, state of euphoria.

This is not possible in our current state, therefore we will be transformed into super humans, if you will. Allah knows best.

Siciid, that was excellent, thank you. I am always fascinated by how humans strive for perfection in themselves and in nature(their surroundings). Fight against aging, campaign to eradicate diseases, the ability of man's flight and to travel supersonic, the obsession with beauty, their curiosity about aliens(beings they imagine exist somewhere out there). Hollywood took advantage of human nature and feeds into the human imagination about everything. Most every branch of science and their stated objectives and the technological progress mankind made are all geared towards perfecting human life, to the ultimate service of mankind and bending the laws of physics in favor of Man. Yet, all these goals are met in heaven only. It kinda makes me wonder that due to our nature as human beings, if we are trying to get back to where we(in the loins of Adam still unborn) came from Originally which is heaven itself.

Just so you know, there are no 72 wives or virgins in heaven allocated for a man, that is based on False Hadith(Weak) attributed


to the prophet. There is nothing authentic out there that mention 72 wives. And it sounds stupid anyway. As far as marrying

the same woman/women you were married to in this world, it depends. If she was sick and tired of you in this world but

could not leave you for personal reasons, she gets a new start in heaven. So you better be a giving man saxib, no woman

wants bakhayl/skinflint/miserly man in heaven. If you think I am joking, you are in for a shock.

The prophet was asked once what if a woman married more than one husband in her lifetime before she dies, And the prophet

said she will have a choice to remarry whom(out of the men she married before) she wants(statement similar to what I just said). That

shows there are no guarantees always that you will have what you want just because you are a man. You need to earn the respect

and the love of the woman. If she dies sick and tired of your complaint about money, you will be seeing her move in with another guy she

married after you died, or she may actually decide to start a new life. You will be screwed. No man is entitled to a woman, a man has to earn her.

Walalo without much hype the way I imagine jannah is limited and probably falls short of the best imagined thought conjured, some even here in this topic. That being said thinking of heaven for me is mostly about my journey there, if I ever make it(May Allah grant me this). The greatest trip I'll ever take inshallah.

Point well taken. I have interests in heaven and I know it is not a dull place where you eat and mate only. Human nature doesn't change because it is what makes us human even in heaven. The troubled parts of our personalities will be fixed, but the passions will remain for things acceptable. For that, I have another item on my list, hit up Noah and spend time with his family. I am fond of him for the story I read about him in the Quran. There are many exchanges in the Quran between people of heaven, between people of heaven and people of hell, including two individuals who will talk to one another even though one of them is in heaven and the other in hell. Closest thing I can think of for that to happen is our current video conferencing method, only an advanced method in heaven? I am being imaginative and that is not forbidden as long as it doesn't change anything fundamental about my faith.

Making to heaven is a wish, but once you get there, what do you want to do is the topic. For many, they have fear about discussing heaven simply because it is too great and no one is entitled to it even with hard work. With that said, Allah is NOT rigid God but most kind, He forgives a lot, Allah loves, Allah cares, Allah runs towards those who walk to him in repentance etc, so let us not underestimate the kindness and generosity of God to humans.

Making to heaven is a wish, but once you get there, what do you want to do is the topic. 

If I am granted entry to heaven, I will sure damn have serious fun. This is not to say I know I will be in heaven at first, it is "If", and if that comes to bear, I will be taking advantage.

Looking forward to a holiday or a trip to visit loved once you haven't seen for a long time or planning to move to a new city is one thing. Because you have an idea of what a holiday would be like. You can imagine and even predict what moving to a new city would be like. But heaven? Brother, all the inherent creative powers of the mind doesn't even come close to answer such question.

For me to try to articulate what I will be doing ( granted I get there) will sound like a mockery.

Most of what I know has already been said but what about the last person to enter heaven? Now that's
a remarkable story of forgiveness.

Someone mentioned boys will be go around serving, I'm not sexiest but I'd rather be served by 72 wives
than boys. Finally I always wondered what I would ask for, since you can ask for anything. I would want
to go back to earth but this time me writing the script as the hero with super powers, like lucid dreaming
