Bosaso is geographically more Northern than Hargeisa but is not considered Waqooyi because of the accent.

The entire civil war was based on 'clan A vs clan B' and not 'region A vs region B'. Hawiye, Dir, Darod and Eelay all have certain regions they share and they all have certain districts within those regions that are exclusive to each clan respectively.
Relax bruh this is in a greater Somali sense not a national one and it's definitely not a political thread.

Besides it's not Eelay, that's only a sub-clan of Rahanweyn.

All the way to Qabridahar? I consider those Somalis only reer Galbeed, but maybe you are right.
Although doollo is pure hawd icon where the greatest northern poets came from i think we should not cross beyond danot, Thats where isaaq and dhuloos border ends. I am not sure if reer wardheer can say Gogol xaadh. I think they are more like reer galmudug. I agree with jugjug lets take all jarar+ plus the northern half of qoraxay, phuk shillabo those muse gumcadle ogs are like xawaadle wanlaweyn. Isku soo duuboo wixii aan 571 ka cunin waqooyi maaha, Wax alaale wixii qaadka kenya cuna oo dhan ummadeena maaha.
I can confirm that reer Qabridahare and reer Wardheer say 'gogol xaadh' instead of 'gogol xaar'. Abwaan Dhoodaan (AUN) was from Wardheer and he was as reer Waqooyi as it gets.

I can tell you the waqooyi accent is strong in ppl from dhegaxbuur. Qabridahar, and Qoraxay region lot less.
The mason dixi line of waqooyi accent runs through hawd region.
