If you react emotionally to a topic you will eventually say something that you haven't thought about clearly
These are people whose emotion isn't too far below the surface - the more vulgar the outburst the less control they have over themselves
So when things like this happen all the ugliness people have been safely keeping under-wraps not too far below the surface comes oozing out. It's therapeutic I guess for them and disturbing for the bystander
Shows though the level of mental health support people need. I once asked someone what he meant by "dib uu heshiisin" that they wanted to see and this person said "for people to come out and say they're sorry". That will never happen, who is sorry, who are these people, are they still alive and who will say sorry first? What you need in actuality is for people to come out and say "I forgive you". Holding on to anger doesn't hurt the other person. How many people have PTSD and how many children have secondary PTSD as a result of being raised around stories of violence against people like them etc throughout their childhood?
I don't think it's about hypocrisy it's instinct and learned behaviour
Somali Character.

Inaa Lilaahi Wa Inaa Illeyhi Raajicuun.
So far 47 people dead and around 50, 000 fled their homes. The best way to approach to this madness is to try all Somali leaders who encourage, prepare and participate tribal wars be tried in an international court of law for the loss of human lives and be charged with Crimes against humanity. They will be forced to seek cooperation, peace and political solutions short of war.
