I mean its not financially, diplomatically or militarilly backed by any other bigger state since 1991 till today. other de facto countries are mostly backed by russia such abkhazia and south ossetia. or Taiwan backed by the US. or Nogormo karabakh backed by Armenia. Somaliland is the only country standing on its own balls. I agree the role of the guurti .jalaaludin5 wrote:who should take credit for that uniqueness?theyuusuf143 wrote:Somaliland is unique the only de facto republic on earth thats not backed by any other Country.

Who said anything about joining Zoomalia? The day I willing go to Ugandhishu is the day of judgement. But that doesn't mean SL will get recognition either.GubanOgoJSL wrote:Somaliland will never join somalia the people have chosen their destiny so just wait for foreverLiquidHYDROGEN wrote:Maybe in the year 2200, when we are the only ones left on earth after everyone else has colonised space we can get recognition from the aliens.KingWaslawi wrote:One small step at a time.

Recognition is possible don't let people fool you, its not impossible to achieve recognition. In the meantime we have to keep building our country making it stronger and sustainableLiquidHYDROGEN wrote:

We just have to get the other 10 million publications to do the same.

Re: national geographic world map first debut for somaliland
When I hear these silly ictiraaf jokes it reminds me when ethiopia use to make fun of eritrea trying to separate for thirty years same shit different scenario.

Before 1993 ethiopia claimed eritrea for over thirty years

Hey that's the spirit sxb....never let the naysayers get you down.
Look at Kurdistan, they have been at it for god knows how long, and they still haven't given up.
Never give up the Ictiraaf.

Never give up the Ictiraaf.

Re: national geographic world map first debut for somaliland
I personally don't think recognition is our biggest problem, we can survive without recognition, we survived without international support for so long, so somaliland is more powerful than some recognized states. somaliland is a miracle by itself and will keep on getting stronger through time alx
