Okay I have an idea about Sufism in Somaliland, anyone know anything on Bari?

Bari has become like Saudi Arabia. All the wahabbis are in Bosaso, and they control all the mosques. My cousin was telling me about how all the women wear blacks cabayas sometimes with indhoshareer. No more dirac or baati. The UAE hayads fund the salafi mosques, and so does the business class. Really bad for the future :down:

Somalia without Sufis is like a prayer without Wudu?

Sufi haduu qof ahaan laha he/she would be NATIVE,...Salafina, he/she would be a foreigner who at best is tolorated.

:stylin: Sufism is still strong in Ethiopia. I went to Harar to witness sufi ceremony (altho they dont call it Sufism). It was beautiful. Also most Ethiopian muslim women dont everr wear the niqab or any of that Arab cultual import. :clap: Most of us still have our ancestors culture
