Back to the story, it is sad to hear to 13, 14, and 15 year olds running away their house. I have teenagers, so I can understand the challenges of raising children in this environment, but we (Somali parents) need to be more active and understand the environment that we're in.

If your kids are running away from you at that young age, than u are either doing something wrong or have failed as a parent.

games, you and i not parents. being a parents is not an easy job man. one needs to think about it before they bring kids in this world. they wont stay cute and innocent. they grow up and be their own people.

Most of these kids (from 11 yrs old) have the lastest phones, with every app imaginable. From FB to Instagram to Snap Chat. No one's monitoring their internate browsing. They could be talking to all kind of weirdos.

Also these yutes are too fast for their own good. Little girls don't dress like little girls anymore. Way is waalayan. They be wearing revealing clothes, make-up..you name it.

On weekends some of them go out to socialise with friends (why do 11/12 yr olds need to meet up and socialise? Wtf are they going to discuss? Certainly not atoms and algebra!

They should be taking their kids to Quran /tuition/karate/football classes on the weekends and stimulate their minds and bodies in a positive way.
