Some of you say that why should somalis care about the Middle East, well one reason is we are a part of although on the fringes of this "Greater Middle East" region.Events that happen in the middle east heartland will affect us.

The Shia missionary in Somalia/Sland is Saudi funded propaganda, fear mongering tactics . Somali are traditionally Sufi. Sufis does Mawluti Nabi, Salalaahu calyhi wasalam.

I don't care about the rest--but I do care or concerned about the Saudi deficit and economic downturn. That is scary ee yaahe. These people are used to being on top on the world--they depended on oil for many years. Saudi has the highest number of crazy Suunis and Suffis lool they will eat their princes alive! :o
Saudi-Arabia had always been the most backward country of the Arab world. They kept pre-Islamic culture alive but sadly most prominent and influential of Arab rulers :(

Those idiots miscalculated big time,
They thought lets pull our old tricks again, lets flood the world oil market and crash the price,
we will hit 3 things with one stone,
1.knock out US shale
2.hurt Iran
3. Hurt Russia

it did not work out as expected,
both Russia and Iran are modern industrilazied countries, and both are self sufficient agriculturally,
meaning they will never suffer a crash due to oil, they are too diversified.

Saudia only has oil, no oil = dead saudia

and the US shale gas companies have access to practically interest free loans, they keep borrowing and borrowing
they are allowed to do this because they are connected, they are all bankrupt already, but they can borrow indefinetly because the US is a fucked up corrupt as hell place. The only country where corruption is not only legal, but something to be proud off..

if the oil glut goes in a few years, and oil starts rising up in price, those bastards will sell the stocks as they rise, and cash out
if the entire shale oil industry crashes after wards they dont care, as long as they get a payout..
maybe the government will bail them out like the banks in 2008 who knows.

So the Saudis fucked themselves for no reason at all.

my face is dripping with schadenfruede

Gurey----I love your hate for the US! It seems like u r helpless. :dj:

I also love your post above-- it shows a clear--amazing aptitude for economics. I am in awe---I would say, despite u dissing my USA.

I think Saudis---are screwed. I will be curious to learn how they will fair though, I am not having a Schadenfreude moment--because I believe everything happens for a reason. We live in a universe where every syllable of a second is pre-ordained and calculated to happen exactly as it ought to happen. The world is moving towards the destination: Day of judgment--every hair and follicle will be in its rightful place. lol

PS U forgot to add that USA produces its own oil as it is now. And I am sure oil from Iran as well, as The Obama administration is very ready to do business with them despite Israel becoming really irritated. lol
