I stopped using Whatsapp because shit is too monitoring (notification it was sent, received, if you are typing). She can tell, I am "online" if I so much as use my phone in any way. Seriously, its impossible to lie about not getting back to her quickly with the typical excuse: phone died, didn't get the message etc.

I am done with technology because it has become too intrusive:

1. Facebook - Who is this Ayan who keeps liking your posts?
2. Google hangouts - She can notice your online status at any moment.
3. Skype - No more excuses that you can't call when you are away on "business"


I prefer the days of MSN Messenger (when you actually had to sign in - no automatic crap), hi5, IRC Chat,

Couldn't have said any better. The worst is Google. I have a Galaxy phone and everything is connected with your Google services and is saved somewhere.

Infact, Google even saves your Google Siri thingy when u speak to your phone if u don't turn it off.

Its hella scary to imagine to know everything you ever searched for on Google is saved.
