A family of 4 visited us recently. Here's a story of what happened:

I am confused you speak of yourself in the first, second and third person. Then you speak of yourself in the feminine and masculine.

It don't matter to me if your male, female or both but could you be little more considerate in future, i take it ENGLISH is not your first language either.

Does the Dutch language not have distinction between feminine and masculine? or is that Danish?

When my mother told me to fetch a knife from kitchen, the girls removed hijab for less than 30 sec and then put them again. Why not leave them on?

When the guests are visiting, I only leave the room when I need toilet, dinner, when mum asks me to do stuff, etc. I probably left the room less than 5 times a day during that time. Perfectly reasonable if you ask me.

English isn't my first language.

I am not only one living in this house. When I say us, I mean our family. Anyway, I've read the post again and I can't find mistakes in that post you're talking about.

Dutch and Danish is a gendered language but Danish uses common and neuter gender rather than masculine and feminine.

I never believe when people say they can't speak somali. Imagine your mom and dad conversing in somali everyday, you gotta pick up something over the years unless your stupid.
