There is an old Xamari (cad cad) man from Birmingham who told his story on TV a few years back (I hope some one can find the video).

He left his family and flew back to Mogadishu in the late 2000's to reclaim his house. When he arrived in Mogadishu and enquired about his house he was told by locals that it was occupied by an Abgaal family. The day following his arrival he went to the house and found the woman of the family in the house. He told her that this was his house, however, as he is living in the UK he has no problem with them being there and just wanted them to sign documents confirming that they are just there to look after his house (he wasn't even asking for rent money). The woman calmly told him to take a seat in the front yard until the husband arrives so they can discuss.

After sitting there for about an half an hour he decided to use a toilet located in the front yard of the complex. While he was in the toilet the husband returned to the house and sat exactly where this old man was instructed to sit. He heard a burst of gun fire and came out of the toilet to discovered that a man who had sat in his seat had been cut to shreds with bullets. The old man made a run for it and never returned to Somalia. The old cow had obviously instructed some related mooryaan to come and kill the old man. However, Allah (Subhana wa tacala) is the greatest of planners and it was her husband who died on the day.

This is how property disputes are dealt with in Xamar. God bless Somaliland, The land of Justice and the righteous.
