Canjeero is Ethiopian. Why did Somalis even name a pancake like thing after the Injera? When it looks and tastes nothing like it.
Well its the Somali version and it sure is unique to them troll. Your comment right here shows that you are not looking for an answer. That isn't too surprising considering that you are an Ethiopian troll masquerading as a Somali.
Somali version came from Yemen and it was first introduced in Somaliland/Djibouti/north where it maintains same name as Yemen; Laxoox.

In Yemen it was introduced by the Axum Empire who ruled the region.

Unlike Ethiopia neither Somali Peninsula nor Yemen had its own grain. Ethiopia had its ancient teff grain.

Before Europeans, different food was introduced to Somalis by Arab, Persian, Indian and other Muslim traders.

Before introduction of grain/wheat, Somali diet consisted of milk, meat and wild berries or wild fruits.

Northern Somalis and the southern Somalis always had different diet and different actors traded with the two.

For example if you approached a northerner with jabati, which comes from Indians, he wouldn't know.

But if you said kimis or sabayad he would and these two have their roots in Arabia.

Even though it's the same food, different region adopted from different traders due to proximity or
Location.

If you said galay most northerners would be confused but they know arabiqi.

Rice was introduced by Arab traders and it pre-dates Europeans.

Somalis used to trade and import food in the past like they do today. We use to eat all kinds of food we still eat today. One meal would be rice, meat and milk.

Before the arrivals of the benevolent Europeans we did not eat food, we simply converted h2o to carbohydrates through challenging tribal trances.
