Sumu I heard there is soon to be a property boom in Dadaab, why don't you look into investing there as many are predicting Dadaab to gain a city status in near future hence why there will be boom in property market in that region?

I actually do not like a remote Tuulo but just a middle size city is nice. I do not like Nairobi or Muqdisho But a mid-size city like Eldoret, Garisa, Beledweyne or Gaalkacyo is cool.AirBitaale wrote:Sumu, what do you think about the villages (Tuulooyinka)?

North eastern is too HOT and too under-developed for me. Even those who were born there are migrating to Nairobi everyday. I like Eldoret better. Its tropical, has a lot of agricultural potention and its relatively peaceful. Plus that is where my Mom owns property and most of my nieces and nephews were born and raised. So Eldoret is like a home for me.LoDoon wrote:Sumu I heard there is soon to be a property boom in Dadaab, why don't you look into investing there as many are predicting Dadaab to gain a city status in near future hence why there will be boom in property market in that region?

Not necessarily remote, but fairly small towns; those on the main road like Gelinsoor (Galgaduud) and Bandiiradley (Mudug). How would you predict their potential prosperity in the future?Sumubaridi wrote:I actually do not like a remote Tuulo but just a middle size city is nice. One day your rich because you got 1500$.Sumubaridi wrote:Just curious.Does any of you already own their own home? Don't tell me my family owns bla bla bla. That is not yours. I need something that you own and can sell it today if you want without talking to anyone.
The Idea of buying 5 apartments house ( 2 bedroom each apartment) is big on my mind. Its right now about 5-6 Million Ksh ( $ 50-60,000). It might take me 5 years to save insha allah but atleast I can retire with that. The rental is right about Ksh 10,000 per apartment which means I can bocket about 40,000 or $400 a month while sipping mango juice in the mosque if I live in one of them.
The next day your looking for property to buy in Kenya
Ninyahow you are Biopolar

Somewhere in East Africa.Sumubaridi wrote:Where do you own a property? Did you already built it mise is just a bareland?TheCadaanGuy wrote:I own land and property over there. I'm thinking about keeping the property but developing the remaining into charity use. Just that I need to find some volunteers or source of funding.
Very large land but some bits of it are already built upon. I want to build some more or convert some for charity use.
