Ina Adeer, thank you. I, whose ancestor hail from the Darod clan will like to admit the carnage we have caused to other Somali clans and plead forgiveness. We attacked, looted properties, killed, made many refugees, be they Dir, Isxaaq, Hawiye, Digil Mirif to minorities like Mushungulli and Baajuunis. We would like to be forgiven by our Somali brothers and sisters and also, plead with those of my clan members who are still propagating hatred, bloodshed and hostility to cease immediately and start reconciliation with our brothers and sisters. I don't know much about Qabil or Politics but here is what I know.

Mariixan caused much pain and suffering to so many Somali Clans in 1984 -1990. They have not apologized or compensated anyone for the suffering. And all of a sudden you expect people to just forget everything and jump into your train? Marixaan are like, Hey whatever happened has happened so lets just chill and roll. It does not go that way tribe mates. People will think you will get arms and money and power again then destroy whatever little life they have built with their bare hands and sweets.

Call it whatever you want but the Somali Fed gov't isn't Mariixaan gov't just the same way Somaliland isn't Isaaq gov't and Puntland isn't MJ gov't. You can have few MJs or Isaaqs or Hawiye in the gov't and call them Federal if you want. I was told if you go to any gov't office in Garbaharey, 100% of whom you will meet is Mariixaan. You can have one or two Eelaays or Garre in the higher offices but even their security detail is Mariixaan.

I agree with you 100% CoolPoison First time I have seen Mariixaan taking responsibility.
