There is no election , it comes with the title . Now if for some reason he is not doing his job or for personal conduct gives the tribe a bad name , he can be undone , but his successor { close family member} will assume the same function

The elders need to be abolished and Gov has been rather soft on all these crooks.

They should be either executed or given life in prison. All traditional underworld figures who loot the public using long out dated cimamad iyo some cheap shaal need to be outlawed.

If you are a leader you have to go big or go home.

The only way I can tolerate them is if they handled traditional matters such as meher, wanqal, alabari, duco yar, ciibadeysi, parental seminars and the likes.
