What do we share with Sahil nations? Other than our usual failing grades in the UN's yearly human development index, we, Skinnies, share little or nothing with the Sahilians?

Don't ask zoomalians about anything about africa as clearly marshin link demonstrated that zoomalia's links to africa is in past not in the present.

Most of the sahel countries are French speaking countries , Somalia does not speak French , Djibouti does. As for Somaliland they went ahead an created their own Sahel .
Right down here with Berbera at regional capital .

Sahel means coast in arabic .

Unless somebody is saying people spoke arabic when the Sahara was an ocean , I think our Sahil is more appropriate :)

About the border , it's somali territory on both sides of that line .

It's not called ogaden it's called somali region of ethiopia and northern parts have links with djibouti and somaliland while southern parts have links to kenya also some link with zoomalia.
