Sanaag is known for its greenery and mountains. Considering that it's far removed from the troubles plaguing the southern region of the country, I would think that it's relatively safe to visit.

I am Reer Sanaag (Fatima Jibrell is related to me on both my father and mother's side ) and im telling everyone to come and eeg Cal Madow waa guruxbadan i go to my aunt's place there in Dhurduri every year and she has a date plantation

i've already decided that i will be buried in Badhan with my forefathers

She came back to the states two years back to scoop her UN Award for efforts on Acacia Tree preservation from illegal charcoal production. She had enough time to make a quick detour up CT for little fam reunion

When I went back home, I saw nomads she helped a lot. She has also done a terrific work on the acacia tree. Insha'Allah, Allah will reward her in her work.
