The primary reason why AS has free access to Mogadishu is because the soldier is not paid!

So he looks other income sources, i.e. bribes from AS in return to look the other way, baad (I don't know what you call that in English) from businesses and citizens. You can't build a Sandaqad without paying a guy with an AK47!

The fact is that Mogadishu's elders and politicians have a stake in maintaining insecurity. I'm convinced Mogadishu's people are reaping karma for previous wrongdoings. You can't live in a stolen house and expect to be blessed. You can't wish harm on others and expect peace.

That is not correct. The SFG and the "Diaspora" is in both Hodan and Dayniile.
