Gov't should've dropped everything and mobilized a long time ago.
Also the government will lose the unwarranted support they have within the public, this threat must be taken serious by everyone of us.
Imagine the police and military have requested 10% of their salaries to be cut for drought relief. These men make $200 a month with 10 children each and a nasty qat habit kudos to them
If we all were selfless like these brothers, wallahi we wouldn't need INGO's and donors pity

they the funds to ethiopia instead of Somaliland and puntland even the FOA alarmed them long time ago about this sever drought......by the way our government know about those warnings but they ignored hoping the NGOs will do the work for them and will supply aid to the effected nomads.

its even worse than the map shows, there is nothing in northern Awdal Now. And even southern togdheer is in bad situation.
