As if the skyrocketing marriage cost ( which, FYI, is now estimated to be increasing at ten times the annual inflation rate) was not enough for your poverty stricken ass, you have, now, decided, not only to make a major purchase, but the Einstein you are, you figured, it would be best, if you bought the car on credit. Guys,

I spent $850 on this car but no one can still find the problem. Its a 1999 Toyota Camry with 160,000 Miles. I do not want to spend more money on it and I do not think anyone will buy an old car with mechanical problems. I will be lucky if I make my fixing cost from it. I now have $2000. I have 2 options. Keep saving money while I take the buses then buy a car with my saving before the winter insha allah or lease a car from this Kenyan dealer who has good cars. His cars ranges from $7000-$10000. He will take the $2000 but he will expect me to give him about $500 a month.

Would you walk or lease the car? I just came out of a debt and I am not happy of going to debt again.

Sumu, if you can fix the one you have, fix it. If not, a get a used car in good condition and pay that one. If you can walk or take the bus to/from your job, take that route until you save enough money.
