I don't like how it looks like to be honest :lol: but it somehow seems to be synced with how it sounds; Ina as the Son, the 'i' stands alone and then comes the 'na'. And the Female one, however, the 'in' goes together and then comes the 'a'.

Yaa soo alifay Blue?

^^
yeah it sounds like Ina for male and inA for female.

writting it as I'na and In'a looks very awkward. accents will look better and are smoother. Ina and Inâ :up:

I forward this motion. Solves a great deal of confusion.

Signed,
InâSamaale.

Ina is a gender neutral name. Maybe you should get something else.

Lol from games' obsession with Somali forum data and traffic to an etymology class, you gotta luv Snet :lol:

Now it's Ina-Samaale and InâXasan. Because I believe it's the masculine one that needs xarakada.

Now how do we differentiate between all these words with similar writing but different meaning and differently accented.

Beer =a farm
Beer =a liver
Dameer , female donkey
Dameer, male donkey
Duul,= fly
Duul= a horde like the dothrakis ;)
Duulitaan to fly
Duulitaan to attack
Daar = to turn on
Daar = a nice stone house
Miis = a table
Miis = to weight , I think! i.e Sonkorta u miis!
Cad = meat , another word for hilib
Cad =white

And am sure there are plenty of other words that I couldn't think of. This just shows how Somali language is in need of big reformation and simplification walee.

I mean his understanding of the English language is even better than Games who can't differentiate between "woman" and "women". :|
What I can't believe is his age. 23? No way. Did you hear his gabay? I think he is older than he claims. He may be a diaspora but that age is hoax.

why the male? Ina for male is very generic and it is pronounced the same exact way it is written in English and most latin based systems. the female Ina has a different sound so it definitely needs accents.

I think we should just go back to the Arabic script. It is perfect for Somali due to the nature of Somali relating to Arabic and how phonetic the Arabic script already is. You wouldn't have found the Ina vs Inâ problem if Somali was written in Arabic script.
