I had a proper cringe moment a couple weeks ago.


I left my phone at dugsi - well actually my younger sis was using it & then left it. Usually my phones wall paper is nature or pics of my neices. Well I decided to put a selfie of me without hijab as the screen saver a couple days earlier (something I used to do as teen - felt reminiscing or something since I'm getting old )

When I get home I realise I don't have my phone & go all panick mode right. I called it & luckily I managed to locate it. It was with our teacher, who told me he was still at the classroom.

Mind you it's like night time right and in my excitement of locating my phone I'm like..."okay I'll come pick it up"


Jacda igu dhacday, the sheikh told me to send my husband. That was just a knife in the heart to an already embarrassing situation.

Recently my phone was ringing so I got it out of my bag, saw the caller and just put the phone back into my bag.

The person who was calling me was standing on the other side of the street and saw the whole scenario..

Well we are "friends" because she feels she can call me but to be honest she's more like a relative of my husband..i don't really bother too much about her

I kindly said, I have like 4% battery left on my phone and I needed to send a text, if I would have picked up my phone would have died.. I was gonna call you back as soon as I got home..
