Mostly likely this fiber optic cable telesom is bring will try to cover the eastern regions like burco ceerigaboo and laascanood the areas somcable hasn't reached yet but if he does it in hargeysa that's no biggie but I think he will use this to boost telesom mobile Internet connection which sucks only 3g while somtel has better Internet connection and is 4G.

had we been a real wadani country they would team up and make sure to connect directly to East Africa Sub Cable instead of going through some third party shit country like Djibouti and Oman, Telecom is a matter of strategic security as well.

^ I guess that is why he is urgently appealing to Silaanyo to stop Telesom, as well as making xaaraan backroom agreements with Musa Biixi.

Ina Aw Sicid knows he is bankrupt once Telesom moves into Somaliland + Ethiopia with their own cable project. There is no need to be ashamed and argue about this, otherwise he would handle some healthy competition.
as you said government has awarded him 25 years exclusive arrangement for fiber optic services in Somaliland, so he has every right to block telesom fiber optic process.

Isaaqs are posed to become inredicblely wealthy in the next 25 - 50 years if we do it right, we are one of Ethiopias 3 principial alternatives for imports with kenya and Djibouti. if Telesom pulls this one off they would become a player to reckon with in Ethiopias 100 mill pop market once the country is deregulated.

hello beautiful

I think it's a matter of xaasidnimo if they don't connect to other operators, I thought the riyaale gov regulated that all telecom operators must allow internal roaming years ago. This is governmental issue to fix up.

It's a wellknown fact HA and HJ are the equivivalence of Christians and Yahuud collaboration in SL, but this is for big players to know, like Nuux Ismail, Aadan Madobbe, you're makahil ie insignificant minority within SM family no wonder you don't know anything.

Telesom is a multican consortium spearheaded by Garhajis in principle Ciidagale who is also majority owners.
It's a Isaaq / Hawiye corporation with a similar division running in Somalia also.

Somaliland is at the mercy of 2 companies dahabshiil and telesom. Not only do these 2 companies control the finance sector and telecommunications sector. But now they are trying to monopolise everything. I just think it's pure greed. I won't be surprised if I start seeing rice sacks with dahabshiil or telesom written in on them.

This is great and all, but Somalis will not develop until they manufacture hardware and software for their specific needs. The lack of software in the Somali language is one of the reasons why ICT is jut not used in the private sector, and why the Somali economy is so underdeveloped.
