Mr luis why the King of Kismayo avatar? Why would a Cuban have any interest in Kismaayo today, thought Cuba was an Island and not a huge landlocked country? Why are you not comfortable with your Habash identity?

It is just a nickname, I could choose others but I selected that one. There is not any speacial reason for my decision.
But this topic is about WSLF not my nickname.

I am a Cuban citizen but some members of this forum dont want to believe me. This is not my problem.
But we are talking about WSLF, please do not change the topic of the conversation.

By the late 80s and early 90s Most WSLF either joined ONLF and other rebellion groups in Somali Galbeed
There were four insurgencies in Ogaden:
WSLF was defeated by Ethiopia
Somali Abbo Liberation Front ceased to exist in 1990
ONLF was created in 1984 but began armed struggle in 1994
Issa and Gurgura Liberation Front which fought against TPLF but they joined it later, now Issa and Gurgura are EPRDF allies.

WSLF tried to unify all somalis in Ogaden but internal differences destroyed this dream. The attacks to Jijiga was amazing and effective, a huge blow to Ethiopia.
