Many of the same old faces, same old topics. I last visited this forum in 2006. That's ten years ago. What's shocking is it's like you people have been living in a bubble this whole time, completely disconnected from the rest of the world.
You people are a disgrace. Nothing is sacred to you and everything is free game. The gist of every qabiilist thread is: "My tribe is superior. Your tribe is inferior. Your women are all whores and your men are all cowards.".
The truth is that you're all the same. If you disgrace another tribe, you're disgracing yourself. Politics and history are one thing, but there are certain lines that should never be crossed. For instance, there are a bunch of disgraceful images that are floating around the internet and nobody popularised them except for diseased qabiilists like you who wanted to score a few cheap points in fadhi-ku-dirir. Those same images are used by ajnabis to degrade Somalis in general. "No, but they're daarood/Isaaq/Hawiye" is not going to cut it.
Newsflash: the world does not give a damn about your qabiil or the dusty little tuulo you call home! You're all the same. Our people back home are impoverished and dying in the sea by the thousands.
Teeda kalena, some of you are odayaal who should know better. You should be inspiring our youth to achieve greatness. You should be using your extensive knowledge of history and our beautiful culture in a constructive manner. Wallahi so many of our youth are lost and have turned their backs on their heritage. Seeing how our elders get down on this forum, I don't blame them. I'd be ashamed to be associated with this level of primitiveness!
Wallahi this is a heartfelt plea: get your act together sxbyaal! We desperately need to move on from this foolishness. It benefits no one. Love your tribe, support your country/region, seek justice for your people. But don't foster extreme levels of hate in your heart for someone who was born and raised by a Somali mother just like you. Stop referring to our mothers and sisters as whores. Stop degrading your own people. Being from a certain tribe does not make you "great". You didn't choose your tribe, it's all random. You all have the blood of other tribes flowing through your veins.
Even if we disagree politically, what's stopping us from having civilised discussions? When did using vulgar language, insulting women etc become masculine traits? You guys engage in gossip, use the most vulgar language and debate in the most primitive manner! This needs to change. You're making us all appear like a bunch of primitive lunatics!
Lastly, if you've engaged in this foolishness for 10+ years and still don't see what's wrong with this type of primitive behaviour, then kindly do us all a favour and shoot yourself.
I'm glad I came back to this dump though. At least it reminded me of why I avoid most Somalis like the plague and why I keep a small circle of like-minded friends. It also showed me how far I've come. I'm glad that I felt disgusted by what I saw (from all sides). Most of you have been here for so long that you've become desensitised to this mess.
Funny how a bunch of " I'm no qabilist followed after your wise words who surely made many feel ashamed of themselves.
I for one, admit that I cannot say haven't spoken about qabyaalad at all, but merely in historical and cultural discussions, but never to the point where I insult another qabiil.
But I must say extremely wise word said by you and cred t to you for highlighting this.
We should focus on promoting peace, development, exchange ideas about the future of our country. Not discuss hawiye is this, darood is that and Isaaq is that.
The other day same guy wrote
"Iam majerteen and I want to work in Mogadishu, can I hide my majertness and claim abgaal to get a job within the government? I couldn't stay quiet so I replied, why are you insinuating that only abgaal people can work for the government? And he insisted that was the case- to which I said, there are ministers from all clans, there are people from all clans working for the government. Don't try to paint the government as an abgaal dictatorship.
Basically what I am trying to say is - this is my level of discussing qabyaalad on here. To encourage and not to offend any qabiil.
