Tigray is about restriction no free trade monopoly Kililsation the Kilil nonsense is not in isaaqs interest, back when mengistu and Haile selassie were in power there were more isaaq millionaires heck even Billionaires Xoogsade who obtained the license to export Ethiopian Coffee.. Now all the economic assets of the country is run by Tigray. The Amhara love to share aslong as u subscribe to their Ethiopianwinet ideology which is not to bad either. back in 2015 i met this Amhara guy he used to teach at Haile selassie university in Addis Ababa but when the TPLF came they dismissed him from his duties and he had to open a little shop at the airport. He was a great supporter of Somaliland when i said i was Somali he said are U ogaden or Somaliland very impressive guy he was also very anti Eritrea and the TPLF he said he remembers the good days of Ethiopia when he was a teen age during haile selassies reign.he was very kind he said next time if i come to addis he will invite me in his home for diner.

The other day my Amhara friend called me from Gondar and he informed me about this event.

I honestly didn't know nor expected to be this big.

Basically he informed me that Tigrais control all the financial means of Gondar and the locals have became sick and tired of being second class citizens in their own land.

A local man organized a low key movement and urged people to fight to regain their farms and livelihoods.

One big issue is around the district of Wolkait, which is huge sesame seeds produce and vast wealth.

The Tigrais have been buying up lands for $500 from poor Amhara and Agaws.

The other week the TPLF tried to arrest the man under the darkness of night but he used TPLF fake law against them. It states police should arrest individuals only during the day.

They ignored that and when they came for him a big fight broke out between locals and the armed forces.

The locals shot dead several policemen but TPLF arrested him anyways.

That's when these people took it to the streets demanding his release, release for all Oromo prisoners, Somalis and others including Gambella.

This is what they shouted. They said an end to TPLF is imminent and Amhara is now not only encouraging Oromo but they are with Oromo.

That's nightmare for TPLF who long played Amhara against Oromo and vice-versa.

The locals are not fan of Ginbot 7 either--at least not all. They prefer local people since G7 is predominantly Diaspora people mostly from US.

Amhara-Oromo returning to another 900 years rule is inevitable. Of course they will abolish ethnic-tribal states but no doubt this time around they gonna have to give Oromo bigger share.

Gondar is probably the most warrior region of any of the so called Amhara regions. It has large Agew population and those who identify as "Amhara" are really hybrid or have Agew roots after all Gondar city was founded by the Agew dynasty of Fasilides.

Gondar is also the region not only that always vowed to unify Ethiopia and expand but it was long-time ruler until the torch was handed over to Shoa. Menelik really only executed the vision of Atse Tewodros II having spent time with him under house of arrest.

Khalid that is why this song is more fitting for the Gondari uprising.

Talo,

Share the link mate.

Somaliler,

Mohamed Abdillahi Kahin (Xogsaade) was from Gabiley and he was Sacad Muse. He and two of his brothers moved to Ethiopia to find opportunities. His other brother stayed back in Gabiley. His father past away while he was still young and the family was poor.

He started as a truck driver and later the occupying Italian forces issued him an Italian driver's license in Harar.

In 1940s the brothers and he set up an import/export business mainly coffee. He slowly won over Ethiopian farmers and was known for his hard work, commitment and trustworthyness and that's how people nick named him XOOGSADE.

His two brothers worked with him in the business with one managing day-to-day transactions while the other handled logistics.

In the 1980s his wealth surpassed 3 billion Ethiopian Birr, over $270 million and was the richest man in Ethiopia before the rise of Sh Mohammed Al Amoudi.

His business is still selling coffee but his boys were not business savvy like their father. He had over 20 children and Abdirasaq was the one last managing the business.

How do I know?

Well I always ask my vastly travelled uncle who informed me that during this early era my own family was reer Gabiley. There primarily 5 or 6 well respected Isaac entrepreneurs.

My own grandfather used to get his supplies from two Isaaq fellas; one who started Omaar company and Isaxaaq fella called Saciid Boss-ka.

These early traders have not only inspired generations but entire families are grateful to them and have deep historical ties and trust with them.

Just ask things dear lad.

Is this story true? He sounds like a good entrepreneur

Now that the sanctions and trade embargos on Ogaden people have been eased up I hope to see us dominating the Ethiopian economy like we do the Kenyan one.

I think the Northern/Central/Wellega Oromos will unite with Amharas considering theyre genetically the same (most Oromos are assimilated in that region) and theyve had a history of sharing power together and their cultures are intertwined whilst the Oromos in the east next to Harar and in the south, will want their own islamist state, since most of them in secret dont think Northern Oromos are true Oromos and are sellouts who betrayed them when Amhara ruled Ethiopia. For somaliland, Amhara rule is best tho. With the Oromos rule, it will, certainly end in factions within Oromia fighting for power considering the diversity views within each Oromo region. Theyre not as united as they try to make it seem. Its a bit like the somali situation where each region has its own history and identity. Many Northern Oromos are proEthiopia but many in the east and south are fervent anti Ethiopia secessionists. Also, Amharas rule will ensure that somali areas in Ethiopia wil remain somali, whilst if Oromo rules Ethiopia, they will try to consolidate all disputed territories like Dire Dawa, Harar, and other parts of fomer Somali lands.

Long live TPLF! However, if the proverbial you know what hits the fan, Shinile Zone and almost all of Dira Dhabe will join Djibouti.

Amhara will be the biggest losers in statehoods or federalism. They will be landlocked nation. Tigrayans are smart by linking rail from their region to Djibouti. We should have close relations with Tigray, plus I don't mind their mamacitas coming to Djibouti for vacation, and then some.
